The summer bedding is now a carpet of colour in the bays along the Pompeiian Wall and the rose garden is at it's very best with glorious colours and scents filling the enclosed garden.  Look out for Belle Epoque and Buxtom Beauty.

The 'Hever Lake Walk' was opened to visitors for the first time since 1939 on Saturday 5 April by Head Gardener, Neil Miller.  Come along and lose yourself in the countryside on this wonderful walk bursting with life.  The walk will take approximately 1 hour to go around the lake and visitors can collect an informative leaflet on what to look out for  from the Information Centre.

Hever Castle is delighted to have sponsored a border created by garden design student, Susan Clark at RHS Malvern Spring Gardening Show this month.  Susan won a Bronze Medal and her border has now been planted in Blue Corner for visitors to see.

The Hever Castle Blue Border design was entered into the Borders Without Gardens section, a unique feature that encourages students and new designers to make their first foray into the world of show garden design.

The border  described as 'A range of seasonal planting in shades of blue and purple with accents of lime green and is reminiscent of a fireworks display with Catherine wheels, rockets, starburst and sparklers.

The Potting Shed has a large selections of roses, plants, vegetables and exotics grown by the gardeners many of which can be seen in their full glory around the gardens.
