They call him Noble Sir Eugene; a knight of great standing and stature, well respected and much admired for his chivalry and sense of fair play. Sir Eugene likes to do things properly and that includes despatching his opponents with a devastating two sword attack and a mighty bellowing battle cry.
Having been in the lists for many a season now, Sir Eugene has been there, done that and “got the tabard”! He and Sir Jasper have an intense rivalry and never a tournament goes by when these two war horses don’t stun the crowds with a tumultuous clash of arms. Whenever they meet either with lances on the tilt or on foot man to man and sword to sword, you know it’s going to be a fight to the finish.
There can be only one who remains standing. He never refuses a challenge and always holds his head high whatever happens in the arena.
Although Sir Eugene likes to maintain a gruff exterior he loves a good story and over a pot of ale, with a twinkle in his eye he delights in enthralling his listeners with tales of high deeds and daring escapades.
